Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This wheelset is a great combination of some of the coolest parts available.  They start with White Brothers Ti hubs, laced to brilliantly anodized red Velocity Synergy OC rims.  The rear rim is designed to be "off center", to account for the the dish a rear wheel needs.  The rim profile is sloping; the inner rim surface is higher on the non-drive side, where all the spoke holes are, and it slopes down on the non-drive side.  This not only looks cool, but makes for a very strong wheel.  All this at only 1700 grams!  They are rim brake only, and would be great for your retro mountain bike build.

Condition

Excellent very lightly used shape.  They're true as an arrow.  All spoke nipples turn freely, and tension is nice.  Hubs are smooth as butter.  Very little brake track wear.  Cosmetically excellent as well.  The hubs look near mint.  Rims have just a few marks in the anodizing here and there.  I would guess very low miles.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
