I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
The D6 Competition Extra-Leger was Stronglight's top end headset from mid to late 1970's. It has alloy cups with pressed on steel races for longevity. This is a Stronglight headset through and through, and Spidel had a deal with them to market the headset with their name.
This one is French threads, and has a flattened spot to match a French frame vs the key notch on Italian/English.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
