Description

This is a complete consumer sales brochure set that encompasses the years 1966 through 1979.  This includes every catalog the Stingray was included in except for 1964, 1965, 1980-1982.  It also corresponds with the prime years of the Paramount. 1979 was the last year the venerable Paramount racing and touring bicycles were produced in the Chicago Schwinn factory before they went to Waterford.

These catalogs detail every bike Schwinn produced for a given year, covering lightweight road, touring, and track models, middleweights, heavyweights, kids bikes, and bmx bikes. They also detail a selection of components and accessories.  There's a lot of history here.

Each catalog contains charming advertisements, illustrations, and photographs that would make lovely wall coverings for your bike shop, basement, or living room!  These make great gifts!

A few highlights include a few Captain Kangaroo full page ads, the famous 1966 Disneyland catalog, a full page detail of the new for 1968 Orange Krate, and countless details on the various Paramount, Stingray, Varsity, Continental, Scrambler, Super Sport, and all the other bikes!

*All of these catalogs came from a closed Schwinn dealer called Kings Cyclery in Casper, Wyoming that I bought out.  Everything was ordered directly from the Schwinn factory. 

Condition

All catalogs are in near mint to NOS condition.  A few of them may have very slight patina on the covers, but primarily they are super clean.
