Description
Lovely and well cared for Brooks Pro from the 1970's. Features the small badge that was used from roughly 1973 to 1979. Top is nice and flat, and leather is supple. Nice patina. The side wings have been "wrapped", and curve around the rails slightly (like you would with a baseball mitt). This reduces rubbing on the thighs, and looks quite nice.
*The nose leather has been trimmed, to just in front of the nose rivet. This effectively shortens the saddle just a little bit, and looks kinda cool. Old school trick weight weenies did to shave grams. It was trimmed nicely, and there's still ample leather in front of the rivet.
Condition
Great to excellent used condition. Leather is supple, yet as firm as a "pre-softened" model. Zero cracking. Rivets look nice with no tarnish. Rear end and corners are in great shape with no scuffs! Rails and hardware look great, with only very slight dirt/corrosion in the deep corners. Lots of life left in this one.
