Description

This made in Mexico Unicanitor clone is boldly labeled Unicanitor!  They didn't even bother changing the name for the first version, and after someone likely nudged them it was changed to Mexicanitor and finally Unicamex.  Rumor has it Lambertini and West Coast Cycles who imported Windsor frames imported/marketed these. 

Quality wise, this leather seems nicer than the leather Cinelli was using.  Plastic shell has three holes in the top.  Rails are nicer than the real ones, with a lovely chrome finish and longer straight sections at the nose.  It's likely to get a lot of double takes from people in the know!  

Condition

This one has some not pretty rear corner scrapes, but aside from the rear end in general it's fairly clean.  It seems like it hasn't had all that many miles but has seen some road rash to the rear.  Very slight corrosion starting on rails (I haven't tried to remove).  Leather is supple.  It's one for your beater bike or just a curiosity to display in the shop
