Famous ti seatpost from the 1990's and very early 2000's. This is the 230mm shorter road version with the lightening hole at the bottom, named the Altura. This uses the same clamp and design as the MTB Hardcore post. This is a 1994 or later version, as evidenced by the brass pivot nuts.
Condition
Near mint barely used shape. Almost perfect from the clamp down to about an inch below the logos. The clamp is just about mint. No zigzag insertion marks, though there is a ring of wear about half way up the shaft from where the top of the seat binder sat. The shaft is very clean with only the hardly perceivable finish inconsistencies that ti gets. These inconsistencies are much more noticeable in photos than in person. This could likely be polished for an even cleaner look. Show bike worthy for all but the most perfect NOS restorations.
