Description
Some of the most popular platform pedals of the early 1990's mountain bike world! These feature the ingenious WTB "Grease Guard", which is a grease port that allows you to lubricate the inner bearings via a grease gun without taking the pedal apart. The outer bearing is a sealed cartridge, and is replaceable. They also have a pair of super rare WTB "Toe Flips", which were Charlie Cunningham and Steve Potts of WTB's 1st component EVER. Mountain bikers were beginning to adapt to clipless pedals, and WTB introduced these to keep platform pedals competitive.
The pedals even have the little rubber dust plugs that fit in the end of the axles! Outside of NIB pedals, these plugs basically don't exist as they inevitably got lost when installing/removing/riding.
Condition
Exceptionally nice very lightly used shape. The bearings feel good as NOS with zero grit or drag. Cages and bodies show nearly no wear. The only real blemish is the decal on the end of the left pedal has wear.
