Description

XC Comp was Suntour's second from the top model in the late 1980's and early 1990's, just below the legendary XC Pro group.  In fact, they are nearly identical to the XC Pro crank.  The XC Pro had different chainrings, as well as a different moulding on the backs of the arms, but that's about it.  Cool-factor wise, they're right up there with XTR M900 for retro mountain bikes!  This is not a Micro Drive crank, and thus would be great for a touring or cyclocross bike as well as a vintage mountain bike.

Condition

Great used shape.  Arms show only minor marks.  Tapers and threads in great shape.  Chainrings look great, and will clean up even better with a bit of elbow grease.  Large and small chainrings show very minor wear, middle chainring has some tooth wear but plenty of life left.
