Description
Description
This mid 1980's Superbe Pro rear derailleur is considered one of the best friction derailleurs ever! It's super smooth and quiet, and reliable to no end. Plus, it looks great! It may not have the prestige of a Campy Super Record, but it outperforms both Campagnolo and Dura Ace by a long shot. This 1983-1986 derailleur is similar to the famous Cyclone MK-2, but even lighter. The Superbe version of this is labeled RD-5300.
Condition:
Excellent or better lightly used condition. The faceplate and lower knuckles have some wear as this model always does unless it's NOS, but mechanically this derailleur shows very little use. The logos are in excellent condition (which is rare for these models!). Pulleys spin buttery smooth, little wear on the teeth. Pivots fee wonderful
Details:
- Short cage
- Compatible with 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 speed

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
