Item Condition
I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
This early to mid 1980's Cyclone Mark-II RD was designed to compete with Shimano's plain-looking but nice shifting Dura Ace RD-7400. The Cyclone was by far superior to the DA, and to most other friction derailleurs. Its silly light at 164g yet is among the best shifting derailleurs I've ever ridden. Its only 14 grams heavier than the Huret Jubilee which is the lightest production derailleur ever made. Sleek internally routed cable.
Condition
Excellent or better lightly used shape. There's a scrape on the lower left knuckle and what looks like claw marks on the face just above it and other light faceplate scratches. Otherwise only light imperfections not really worth noting. Pulleys show almost no wear. Pivots tight/smooth.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
