Description
The Cyclone model was Suntour's first venture into the high end road market, and was a direct competitor of the mighty Campagnolo Nuovo Record. In fact, it was lighter and better performing than the Campy derailleur! At 195 grams, this is considered one of the finest friction derailleurs ever made. The entire derailleur is hignly polished, and finely machined.
This is the desired mid-cage touring/randonneur model. Much harder to find than short cage non-GT! Features the split cage, which allows installing/removing the chain without a chain breaker.
Condition:
Excellent used shape. Jockeys are buttery smooth, pivots smooth and tight. Light wear throughout. Not show bike worthy, but great for most riders.
