I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
The Comp-V derailleur was a "backwards" top normal derailleur from the mid 70's to early 80's. When the cable pulls on the derailleur, it shifts into the smaller rings, and when cable tension is released it goes to a larger ring. This is the same setup seen on those plastic Simplex derailleurs from the 70's, as well as the Suntour Spirt FD-1000. It was often seen paired to the Suntour V GT or Honor rear derailleur. They were sometimes branded on the clamp bike manufacturer names like Raleigh and Fuji (this one is a Suntour branded clamp). This is a 5-hole version, which some think is the later gen (with the 6-hole being earlier)
Condition
Excellent and clean lightly used shape. There are some heavier marks on the inner plate, but quite clean otherwise

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
