Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

These "Blue-Line" shifters were part of Suntour's mid level group that aimed to add some color to the very silver 1980's bike components scene.  They were roughly akin to ARX, and right below Cyclone in the hierarchy.  Oddly, their "blue" ranged from blue to black in reality.  This one, is a glossy jet black.

Condition:

Great used shape.  Levers themselves are quite clean with only a touch of paint wear, the clamp has corrosion and chrome wear

Details:

  • 5/6/7 speed pure friction
  • Clamp mount

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
