Description

This is the stock tubular racing wheelset from a 1972 Peugeot PX-10.  It's a lovely combo of Normandy Competition high flange hubs, Simplex quick release skewers. The front rim is the stock Mavic Championnat Du Monde Montherly tubular, which is the French nurled rim version of the Champion Du Monde.  The rear rim has been replaced with a Fiamme red label rim (it looks almost exactly the same as the front Mavic rim, as it's logos are gone and has the same color/profile.

Condition

Very good to great used condition.  Front wheel is super true, rear has a minor hop but is horizontally true.  Bearings are fairly smooth though could use a bit of grease.  Hubs and rims overall look nice with minor marks throughout. Skewers have their original rubber covers on both ends, and are in excellent condition except light surface rust at the cam.  Wolber tire is glued and in fair condition, but should not be ridden.
