Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

You read correctly: This derailleur is made of real wood!  Like from a tree.  In the late 1990's/early 2000's SRAM got bored and decided to make some special editions of their popular 9.0 derailleur.  There was an American flag, a carbon model, and this woodie.  This would be a great conversation starter on your bike or on your mantle.

Condition:

Fair to good condition.  The springs are tight and pulleys smooth, though the pulleys are a bit worn.  The finish has wear as well.  It would work just fine as is, but even better with new pulleys.

Details:

  • Long cage
  • 1:1 ratio, compatible with SRAM X7 / X9 / X0 series
  • compatible with 7/8/9 speed drivetrains

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
