Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. Description

Very clean set of early 1st gen Tuff Wheel 1's from the 1970's!  These are the version without any stamping or logos.  Nice enough for a restored show bikes, especially if you clean up/replace some of the axle bits. 

Condition

These are in near mint condition, and some of the nicest around. The rims themselves seem to have barely or never been ridden.  The brake surfaces don't really have any marks consistent with brake pad contact, just a few stray scratches.  Webs and inner faces of rims barely have any wear, none worth noting specifically.  Hubs spin well, though could use fresh grease.  Some of the hub parts are corroded.  If the hub pieces were nicer I would probably call these NOS.  Tires are NOS.  Includes a 19t Bendix cog.
