I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. Description

The crankset that helped kill off the boutique CNC component builders of the 1990's, the boring but indestructible XTR M952 is the top choice for performance oriented retro mountain bikes and even modern bikes.  If you need the bling, get a Kooka, Cook Brothers, or Topline crank.  But if you desire a lightweight crank with ultimate stiffness that you simply can't break, this is your crank.

Condition

Great used shape.  XTR logos are fully intact, no heel rub.  Some light scratching, but much less than many of these.  Chainrings have lots of life left.  Big ring has very little wear from the chain but has 4 or 5 teeth that have been bashed on rocks.  The bashed teeth are still more than half there and shouldn't cause any chain mesh issues.  Arm ends are a bit scraped but not horrible.  non-drive crank self-extracting bolt has a big scratch.
