Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

First generation XT Deer Head!  These moto-style levers were made only 1983-1986, and are excellent choices for any retro 1980's mountain bike.  These were stock equipment on many early Stumpjumpers and other early mtb's.  Secure 4-finger grip, and great stopping power.

Condition

These are a bit rough cosmetically, but mechanically they're super clean.  Hardware in great shape with only a couple touches of corrosion inside bolt holes.  Many miles left, if you can overlook the faded anodizing and scrapes. Clean original barrel adjusters

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
