Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Rare first generation of the Dura Ace aero stem with the hidden bolt, in the style of the Cinelli 1R.  This model was produced 1981-1984 and ran concurrent with the DA AX HS-7300. The AX was the same stem, only with the blue AX logo on the clamp.  Later around 1984 it became the HS-7400 with a much bolder & industrial logo on the clamp.

Condition

Average used shape. Includes clamp plate. No top cap. Some cosmetic wear throughout

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
