Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

These last version 9 speed STI brifters are the ones you want!  The 5510/6510 models had MUCH improved internals, which shifted better and lasted much longer than the earlier ST-5500/ST-6500's.

Condition

Excellent mechanical condition, good cosmetic shape.  Shifting is perfect, crisp, and reliable every shift.  Cosmetically they look good with some marks.  Faceplates are the main area of marks, but there's a few marks on the lever blades.  Hoods are in good shape but do have some wear.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
