Description
These legendary 1990-1995 MTB tires were Ritchey's early directional tires. It features small closely spaced knobs for that ultrafast XC race feel, on dry hardpack. The Z-Max was the all-around fast XC tire for both dry and wet conditions, these Over Drive (and to a lesser extent the Harddrive) were even faster on dry dirt and rock. These were stock on many fillet brazed and tig welded Ritchey models over the years (P-21, P-22...) or desired upgrades on Klein Attitude, Stumpjumper Ultimate/Epic, Fat Chance Yo Eddy, Mountain Goat Whiskeytown Racer, and many other early 1990's bikes. Condition
Barely ridden, show bike worthy. Supple and very close to mint with under 100 miles. Tread still has factory wax on one tire, and both have some of the mold nipples intact. No cracking, crackling on bending, or dryness. Decals are near mint. *these are still 30 year old rubber and should be ridden EXTREMELY carefully.
