Item Condition
I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
This was Ritchey's top level production stem in the late 1980's to early 1990's, made by Nitto. It's what came on many fillet brazed bikes like the Ultra, P-22 and P-21 Team. This is the Competition version, which weighs 290g (in 150mm, via catalog) and is identified by the clamp binder sitting vertically at the front of the clamp vs the more common Force Directional (FD) that weighed 340g in 140mm which is identified via binder sitting vertically under the clamp like a Cinelli 1A. This one is even more special with it's integrated cable hanger stop! These were sold unpainted aftermarket, but were often painted to match a frame it came on.
Condition
Excellent used shape. Light marks here and there, nothing serious. Ride it as is, or paint it to match your Ritchey frame!

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
