Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Jan Heine from Bicycle Quarterly and Compass/Rene Herse designed these tires to be plush and fast beyond belief.  They are designed to be clinchers with a similar ride feel/quality as silk racing tubulars.  These are superbe tires for racing, commuting, or shallow gravel/dirt.  I'm slowly equipping most of my road/gravel bikes with Compass tires and not looking back.  They're really that good!

From the manufacturer:

"Stampede Pass (1119 m/3671 ft) is a small pass in the central Cascades that is accessed via a gravel road. This pass offers great views of the central Cascade Range and a twisty descent with numerous hairpin turns. The gravel on this road often is smooth, so you can ride this pass on 32 mm-wide tires."

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
