Description
Before the legendary Cinelli Unica-Nitor saddle was released in the 1960's, all saddles were either Brooks style solid leather, or plastic junk. The Unicantor was the first to have a plastic shell, (some) covered with a bit of padding and leather. It's the basic premise most modern saddles are based on! One of the most influential bicycle components of the 20th century.
This is a very late 1970's to early 1980's MOD 55, identified by the perforated top with Cinelli logo, foil decal, and lack of the Cinelli "Flying C" on the sides of the nose (the later versions have the C's on the sides and some lack the foil decal)
Condition
Great used condition. Some scuffing on the rear and nose, and slight dirt in the logos. Not a show quality piece, but looks great for a rider and has a ton of life left.
