I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
Phil Wood is a legend in the bottom bracket and hub market, you simply can't get any better parts. This is an earlier model with the simple cylindrical shell.
Condition:
This one feels buttery smooth, but there is one spot in the rotation that has a touch of drag. you can feel this when you're spinning the spindle with your fingers, but it completely disappears once it has a crank on it spun by hand or feet. I don't know what's caused this one spot with drag, but it is just a spot where the bearings feel tighter for a micron. It's not gritty, just tighter. The cups are near mint, and the center shell looks nice with just a few marks.
Details:
- Spindle: 108mm
- Cup threads: English
- JIS square taper (for Shimano, japanese and american brands, etc)

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
