Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Avocet is an under-appreciated Italian bicycle components firm from the 1970's and 1980's.  They made great performing and looking parts.  These chainrings are no exception.  Aesthetically they're simple yet beautiful.  The only markings are the tooth count and Avocet's little squiggly line "logo".  Perfect machining lines are visible on the teeth.  The bolt circle diameter is 144mm, which fits Campagnolo Nuovo/Super Record cranks as well as early Suntour Superbe and Sugino cranks.

Avocet chainrings are quite rare, and a great addition to any vintage bike.  We have many sizes of these rings, see bottom of page or search for "Avocet" in search bar top right.

Condition

New old stock, quite minimal shop wear.  Suitable for show bikes.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
