Description

The 7402 crank is a favorite for 1980's high end road bikes with Japanese components.  These were made from 1988-1993.  It is nearly identical to the earlier 7400, with the only difference being a SLIGHTLY narrower spacing between the rings to accomodate 8 speed.  

While it is simple in appearance, it is a workhorse that will last eons and stay looking nice.  The Dura Ace logo on the arms is smartly engraved, and will not wear off with heel rub.  The name of the game is sharp angles, and this crank has plenty of them.

These arms include a new Salsa 42t chainring and a black chainring guard.  Includes the original Dura Ace dust caps. 

Condition

Either NOS with some shop wear to the backs of the arms, or minty highly polished slightly used crank arms.  The back side of the arms have some light wear, the outward facing portions are near perfect with just a few tiny marks.  Tapers look like they've been installed but not really ridden.  Arm ends are clean.  Chainring and guard are new.  Slight marks on the dust caps.
