I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
The Sachs 5000 was a rare 1990's derailleur that sat under the New Success gruppo. It was builit with the Sachs ARIS system, and is designed to shift with Campagnolo or Sachs 8 speed indexed shifters. There is debate as to whether Campagnolo or Sachs was the first to develop the ERGO shifter and then license it to the other.
Condition
New old stock, with just a bit of shop wear in the form of scratches on the face plate. Other than that it's just about perfect.
Details
- Short/medium cage
- Max (chainwrap?): 32t
- Total (biggest rear cog?): 28t

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
