Description

This high quality musette was sold by Rivendell from about 1996 to ~2000.  It's a musette that is built to last, and to be versatile!  You can tie the strap to be the usual shoulder bag, or tie it around your waist to use as a hip pack!  It is waxed cotton and thus waterproof!  A couple inner pockets for your smalls.  It appears to be the same or very similar to the BOB Musettes Riv also sold.  Very rare piece for you Bridgestone / Rivendell collectors!  

From the 1996 catalog

This is called the Big Boy because we used to have a slightly smaller one. For carrying a few books and a binder, pencils and note paper, small camera and a banana, this one's perfect. There are two sets of loops. The lower one is for the waist strap, which we provide (cut the long strap in side the pounch in half). The upper loops are for you to attach your own, home-made shoulder strap to. A rope, a flat inner tube, webbing ... 15" x 12" x 3". 290g.
