Description

Pelissier is a famed French company known for their high quality pedals, chains, toe clips, and hubs starting in the early 1900's (though their hubs were made by Perrin for at least some of their years).  They were popular with the randonneuring crowd mid-century.  This hub is the Dural 1000 model, which sits just below the top of the line 2000 Professional hubset (similar appearance, but with sealed bearings and a one piece shell design).  The Dural 1000 is quite light, at 158 grams for the front hub.

Condition

New old stock, never laced.  Bearings are buttery smooth, and only very slightly dry with it's 40+ year old grease. Some light shop wear in the form of micro-scratching.
