I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
These dust caps came on a variety of cranksets in the late 1980's and 1990's. These came on any top level gruppo from about 1987 to 1994 that did not have self-extracting bolts. Most notably they came on C-Record pista 306/102 Pista, Chorus 706/101.
Condition
New old stock. These came installed on a brand new Chorus RS crank, and were removed before the crank was installed (previous owner used self-extracting bolts instead of these). They are pristine, though if you look at the wrench hole from the underside you can see the slightest rounding of the corners from being installed/removed from the crank.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
