Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This is a 1st gen C-Record retrofriction ("Doppler") downtube shifter set.  They were issued from 1984 to 1987. Around 1986/1987 the 2nd gen Retrofriction A271-2 C shifters released that had a driveside shifter significantly larger than the non-drive, then the Syncro indexed shifters.

Condition

New old stock. Possibly a take off, or maybe just a slight bit of shop wear but not installed. I can't tell if I see cable marks in the grooves. Very clean.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
