I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
This is a very rare #626 downtube mounted cable guide from the 1950's to very early 1960's. This generation features the distinctive round tunnel as the guide, instead of the upside-down "V" shaped guide the common 60's to 1980's ones have. If you're restoring a 1950's Bianchi or other Gran Sport equipped Italian bicycle of the era, you probably already know what this is.
Timeline (this one has 5 rays per side)
- Early 50's: BREV CAMP logo
- Mid to late 50's: World logo with 7 rays per side
- 1960-1961: World logo with 6 rays per side
- 1963-mid 1960's: World logo with 5 rays per side
- Later versions had reinforcements on bad to prevent slipping
Condition
Excellent used shape. A few little spots of chrome wear. Bolt and nut are very clean. Appropriate for show bikes with patina or any rider
Details
- Model: #626 (627 is for single chainring and lacks cable stop, while #630 & #631 add a pump support)
- Driveside: cable guide
- Non-drive side: cable stop
- Steel

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
