I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
Released in 1982, this was cutting edge technology for the touring and mountain bike world! It was Suntour's attempt of chasing down the Huret DuoPar. The Mountech was essentially an ARX body with a Superbe Tech cage and pulleys. It has a floating cage, dual parallelogram, and doesn't require a cable housing! A favorite for vintage touring bikes for it's high capacity, great looks, smooth shifting, and durability. This is the "L" model, which is a medium to long cage. The GTL RD-4900 model had the extra long cage similar to today's SGS triple mountain bike cage length.
This is a fairly rare derailleur, and was only made for a couple years.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
