Description

Untouched set of the GOLD Mafac Competitions!  This is a rare later-verision of the famous Mafac Competition centerpull brakeset, coined the GT.  The main difference between the GT and the earlier Competitions is the alloy tire guides, as well as a straddle cable with dual ball ends.  They're from the late 1970's or early 1980's.  Revered as some of the best performing centerpulls made.

Box is stamped "Anodiso OR", which translates to gold anodised.

Condition

New old stock, in original box.  Complete with instruction sheet, original brake cables/housing, straddle cables, gold cable carriers, front/rear cable hangers, caliper mounting bolts/hardware (nutted).  Hardware is untouched in factory bag, bolts haven't even been bolted to the brake arms before!  Pads are supple.  Some very light microscratches in the gold anodizing.
