Description

This is an untouched 1st generation Rally long cage derailleur, of the 2nd type which has a reinforced hanger neck to address the cracking issues the 1975 Rally RD had.  The parallelogram on this model is the same style as a Nuovo Record.  Quite a rare piece, with the original box!  A favorite of touring cyclists who run a triple crank, as it's the prettiest and most reliable long cage rear derailleur of the classic era.  They were produced from 1975-1982.

Condition

New in original box, never mounted and pristine.  We have three of these, all completely pristine.  The first person to order one will get the pictured wax instruction sheet.  The other two wax instruction sheets were used to wrap the derailleur in, and thus are wrinkled.  Boxes are perfect, not faded.
