Description
Uber rare 1994 model 632 version of the famous Mavic Starfish! It's most easily identified as the later and vastly more rare version via the milled out edges of the spider on the back, and the sharp edges of the backside of the arm ends by pedal holes (vs heavily rounded edges on the earlier 631). The arm profile is wider on this 632, and the spider is shorter allowing for as small as 43t outer rings (earlier models fit 48t minimum). The 632 ran through 1996 when the Starfish was discontinued.
This is an orphan driveside arm, chainrings, chainring bolts, and dust cap. The price is about what the chainrings alone would go for.
Condition
New old stock! It was installed on a show bike and removed after one test ride. It is VERY close to pristine. The crank arm's only marks are bb spindle marks inside the taper and a couple barely bigger than pinpoint marks on the lower edge by the pedal hole. Chainrings have just a few very minor mark sections on the teeth. There's no real dirt/wear between the teeth proving the no real miles. Dust cap and chainring bolts are mint.
