I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
The rare and famous Mavic "Starfish" crank from the 1980's is a one of a kind piece. It's a one-piece construction with a monsterous spider. It includes the original 39t ring, and the spacers that fit between the big and small rings.
Condition
Very good used shape. Like most of these, the finish is scratched up and the ends are a bit scraped. It would be a nice candidate for a sand and polish. Chainring is in great shape with little tooth wear. Tapers are out of square on the outside face, but perfect on the back side.
Details
- Arm length: 177.5mm
- BCD: 130mm
- Bottom bracket needed (not included but available HERE): Square taper (JIS), 114mm spindle length (according to Velobase)

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
