Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Super rare hub from Mavic's first mountain bike specific gruppo.  The Paris Gao Dakar group was made for mountain bike support riders during the Paris-Gao-Dakar race of 1987, and went on to be used for MTB assistance riders at MTB World Cup the next year or two.  These iconic components are easily spotted with their day-glo pastel decals (and thus, bikes & kits!).

Condition

Near mint very lightly used shape! The only real wear on this one is a small piece of the center decal missing. Otherwise very clean. Bearings feel brand new.  Good enough for any show bike!

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
