Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

The ultimate for bombproof, somewhat lightweight road bike wheels!  Mavic Open Pro rims are some of the strongest out there.  These were my personal wheels, and they have been nothing but reliable.  Barely a spoke nipple has ever been turned!  Only about 1000 miles on them.  Only selling because I swapped my IF Crown Jewel to Campy, and now I'm running Open Pro rims on Chorus hubs.

This wheelset was handbuilt by Wheelsmith, with Wheelsmith spokes

Great condition.  Rim is perfectly true, bearings smoother than butter with no play. Hardly a scratch anywhere.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
