Description

If you want to make your bike faster/lighter/better, a high performance wheelset is the place to start.  The Mavic Ksyrium SL is (in 2012) Mavic's top of the line alloy wheel.  They're highly regarded in the cycling industry as some of the best wheels available.  In fact, if you ask anyone in the know what type of wheel you should get, the Ksyrium SL is likely at the top of their list!  Very light, super strong, and great looking.  Stiff and light enough to win races, yet durable enough for hard training.  This is one of the cooler looking editions, with red anodized carbon hubs, black rims/spokes, and just one bright red spoke.  

Condition

Great to excellent shape!  Both wheels are very true.  Bearings buttery smooth with zero play (rear hub is just slightly less smooth than front which feels new).  The rear rim is brand new (warranty replacement).  Front rim shows only very minor brake track wear and barely any marks on the anodizing.  Hubs have a few small marks in the red anodizing.  Spokes in excellent shape.  Overall, a super solid wheelset that will last you years with proper care.
