Description

1st gen version of the famous Mafac Competition centerpull brakeset, coined the Luxe.  The main difference between the 1st gen Luxe & 2nd gen "GT" is the GT has alloy tire guides & straddle cable with dual ball ends.  They're from the 1970's or early 1980's.  Revered as some of the best performing centerpulls made. Includes cable carriers, straddle cables, front and rear cable hanger stops, though the tire guides are missing

Condition

Near mint or better with very few miles. Pads look unridden.  No significant wear to note. Some VERY light scratches here and there (especially on the carriers). Not perfect but very nice, could be perfect with a deep clean and light polish.
