I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
Made in the 1940's, this revolutionary hub was decades ahead of it's time. It features a grease guard and sealed cartridge bearings, where every other hub up until the 1970's had traditional cup and cone bearings. Harden also made a hub called the Bacon Slicer hub, which looked like it was made for cutting meat.
Condition
Great used condition! The bearings are buttery smooth with no play. Shell has finish irregularities, which could probably be buffed out. Axle, washers, and nuts look great. Almost zero spoke hole wear.

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
