Description

This hub is part of the "Fisher Control Column" system, that was used on several years of the Trek Gary Fisher Superfly and HiFi mountain bikes.  It features 25mm oversized axle ends, and extra tall flanges.  This makes for shorter spokes and greater contact to the fork (pre-thru axle days) for a stiffer front end.  Hard to find replacement for stock wheels on these bikes, OR, use it as bike art!  This is a gorgeous hub, with a satiny smooth silver finish.  Lovely red axle caps, and nice flange cut outs.  The center decal is a sticker, and should come off with a bit of effort.

Some reports say these have a different spacing, and only work with a FCC fork.  This is incorrect.  It has a standard 100mm spacing.  It will fit many non-FCC forks, though not all.  The part to consider is the oversized axle caps.  It'll mate well with some forks, but not all. 

Condition

Excellent or better lightly used shape.  Bearings are buttery smooth.  Only a few minor marks.  Looks like pretty low miles.
