I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description
Description
Rare lever-operated front derailleur from the 1950's. This is the first type from the early to mid 50's, identified by it's shifter rod clamp encircling the rod and it's cinching bolt being behind the body cover. This derailleur was part officially of the Mark 7 group later in the 50's and early 60's. Unfortunately the upper rod clamp is not included.
Condition
Near mint barely used shape, possibly a NOS take-off. The chrome is brilliant and clear with minimal wear, no rust, and only slight inner cage chain wear. Show worthy

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
