I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

Before the legendary Cinelli Unicantor saddle was released in the 1960's, all saddles were either Brooks style solid leather, or plastic junk.  The Unicantor was the first to have a plastic shell, covered with a bit of padding and leather.  It's the basic premise most modern saddles are based on!  One of the most influential bicycle components of the 20th century.

This is a number one model, smooth leather with no padding. Yellow logos, molded underside logos. This is a late 1960's to late 1970's version

Condition

Great used shape. Fairly low miles with some cosmetic wear that looks like its from storage/handling more than it is riding.  Leather does not show the dulling of color it gets with a lot of rubbing on shorts, decals in wonderful shape. There's some odd line marks on top, wear to the lower edges of side skirts (storage off the bike wear), a few little scuffs on top at rear. Rear corners are reasonably clean, a bit of light scuffs maybe.  Other random minor cosmetic wear. Not the prettiest, but a ton of life left in it. Rails and underside are quite clean.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
