Item Condition

I grade products as honestly as possible and depict blemishes in both description and photos—please study them carefully. I tend to be overcritical and customers report items to be in better shape than expected often. From best condition to worst condition, my grading scale is as follows. Mint / near mint+ / near mint / excellent+ / excellent / great / very good / average / fair.

Description

This unique stem's top half folds open, via a hinge on the bar clamp secured by a 6mm bolt.  It's a neat take on the removable faceplate quill stems that came in the 1990's.  The idea was to accomodate leather wrapped handlebars.

Condition

Great used condition, with a crack in the (cosmetic) black plastic top on the left side of the bar clamp.  This is not at all a structural piece, and is just textured plastic made to look cool.  Otherwise, just a few marks here and there.

Sell / Trade / Donate

I'm always buying high end bikes, parts, accessories, memorabilia, etc. While I'm particularly seeking large piles of new old stock parts, used items in nice condition are welcome.
