Cannondale + Junk Food + Brooks Leather Saddle Bag: Handmade - One of a Kind! Thick Leather - Moto Inspired (NEW)

This gorgeous handmade saddlebag was part of a special collaboration by Cannondale and Junk Food Clothing out of LA for two individual bikes to show at a traveling art show called Re:Mix Lab.  One bike was this Cannondale Bad Boy, and the other was an Urban (in photos).  Only two of these bags were ever made, one for each bike.  I acquired these from the lucky owner of the Urban, who just didn't use the bikes with the bag.  The original owner was told that Brooks actually made the bags, based on Junk Food's design.

The bag is heavily inspired by classic motorcycle culture and design, and of the utmost quality.  It straps to your saddle rails & seatpost to carry tools, tubes, food, etc.  The leather itself is thick and stiff, just like vintage Brooks bags.  Much thicker than the average leather bag!  The outer finished antique brown surface is buttery soft and supple, while the inner is raw leather.  The stitching is high contrast and nothing short of immaculate.  Chrome buckles/loops and nickel rivets give it a classy Harley-esque look.  The flap secures solidly via buttons on  the bottom of the bag. No chance of this opening unless you want it to!  Shape wise, it's similar to the square shape of the Sackville Saddlesack but in a more roubust form

Condition

New, straight off the bike before any use!  Zero wear.
