Description

Top headset choice for classic road bikes!  The Super Record headset is completely made of alloy, where the more common Nuovo Record was steel.  This one has upgraded bearings from an Edco Competition headset.  The bearings fit perfectly, and feel smoother than any alloy/steel retainer I've seen.  The bearings slide in and out of the retainer easily without need for bending the retainer, making for easy maintenance and replacements.

Condition

Slightly used in original box.  The flanges that fit inside the head tube have marks, but there are very few marks on any visible parts.  No pitting on bearings, races, cups.  Spins perfectly smooth when loaded by hand.  Once installed it will be near NOS in appearance and function.
