Description

Top headset choice for classic road bikes!  The Super Record headset is completely made of alloy (save the drilled upper cup flange and crown race which were steel for strength), where the more common Nuovo Record was all steel.  

Condition

Excellent or better lightly used shape.  The only real wear to note is wrench flat marks on the top nut.  Its likely the nut isn't original to this headset, as it shows significantly more wear than the rest of the headset.  The cups are near mint with only some light dried grease in the corners and a little 4mm scuff on the bottom of the lower cup (visible in 1st photo).  Not quite show worthy, but with a cleaner top nut it would be good enough for many show bikes.
